What is my biggest financial obstacle right now? Tarot & Handwriting Reading #7

Whether you are interested in Tarot or just in Graphology, this article will take you through identifying 12 different traits in the writing. These are traits that will help identify the Querent’s biggest financial obstacle. They also affect their ability to achieve the success that is showing as possible for them in the Tarot reading at this time.

Biggest financial obstacle:3 card Tarot Spread: 3 of Pentacles, 8 of Wands and the King of Cups.

Tarot Reading:

Your efforts at work are beginning to reap rewards. You are feeling a sense of success as well as benefitting financially. There is both excitement and activity around you as this brings the good news you were hoping for.

Whether this is you or someone related to your work and financial future, the King of Cups shows an easy going character, likeable and kind.

Their biggest financial obstacle is that they may lack ambition or access to the energy needed to take things to the next level. They may also withdraw from any situation they suspect might be less than congenial thus missing opportunities.

Biggest financial obstacle: Example of writing of the Querent.

Handwriting Reading:

The Positives to overcome the biggest financial obstacle

This Querent shows that they work more on intuition (gaps between letters within script) rather than facts. But that said, they are generally objective (Upright writing) in their outlook. This will help them check their intuitive guidance to decide if it is reasonable before following it.

If you would like to see this article as a YouTube video click here

However, they also show strong independent thinking (short stems on the ‘d’s) which is the tendency to go one’s own way and do one’s own thing. Because of this, what they consider reasonable may not be what others think reasonable. This writer will still go their own way regardless.

They pay good attention to detail (‘i’ dots close to letter), are generally open to new ideas (space visible in the lower case ‘e’). In addition to the independent thinking, they are also very independent in general (Personal Pronoun “I” just a stick).

They have ambitious goals (high ‘t’ bar) in some areas while very much lacking the confidence or ambition to move ahead(low ‘t’ bar)  in others.

The Challenges: The Biggest Financial Obstacle

The easy going-ness of the King of Cups and his dislike of difficult situations shows in the writing in relatively short lived determination (short lower extenders) The low goals that are sometimes apparent and a lack of organizational ability (lower case ‘f’ not same size top and bottom) add to this. These create this Querent’s biggest financial obstacle.

In all, this is a pleasant personality who will not make waves, will go with the flow fluidity of thought shown in figure 8 lower case ‘s’) most of the time. They will also will rely on their intuition to take them where they should go.

This could stand in the way of financial benefit if that looks like requiring a staunch stance and lasting perseverance.

Conclusion

Things happening quickly, as shown in the cards, will have the King of Cups trying to decide on the best route. They will juggle between their objective, analytical (‘v’ formations in  ‘n’ and ‘m’ )  way of thinking and their strong intuitive impulses.

It would appear from the writing that the Querent  shares the personality traits of the King of Cups. Therefore it would be advisable for them to be conscious of this possible lack of drive and reluctance to ‘make waves’ as they move forward.

One Tarot Reading with Two Handwriting Examples

Of course this will probably never happen, but this is just to show the difference that comes with one Tarot Reading and two handwriting examples. First a reading, and then I will relate it to two different handwriting examples. This will demonstrate just what a difference having the writing can make to a reading and what a difference it can make to your Querent to have the reading tailored to their specific personality and current emotional state.

A great many Tarot readings are in answer to questions about relationships, so for this reading the question will be:

What can I do to improve my relationship?”

Since the point of this post is to zero in on how the handwriting affects the reading, I will just do a simple three card reading and stick more or less to the traditional card meanings. I know you would probably get a great deal more out of the reading, but so it’s a basic fit for everyone, I’ll stick to the general meanings.

You can learn how to identify these traits in writing from my other posts and videos. This post is just to demonstrate how differently different writing directs the reading. It also shows how it uniquely tailors the reading to that specific Querent at the specific time.

Here are the cards I drew:

3 Card Tarot Reading

Tarot Card Reading: You are feeling somewhat confused just now.  You have so many choices, routes to take, ways to go that you just can’t see which would be the best. Some may be good choices, some may be bad, but it’s as though there is a smokescreen over them and you just can’t see clearly enough to make a decision you know will be a good one.

The best thing to do for now is just to take a break. Chill out. Look at this from a different perspective. Let things ‘percolate’ in your head for a while. Allow yourself to just hang out and relax and you may find you see things more clearly and will find it easier to find your way. The Hanged Man is the only Major Arcana in the reading, so is the most important action (or in this case inaction) for you to take.

If you do that and don’t rush it, don’t worry about it, just let it all sort itself out in its own time, you will find success. You will find the way to succeed in this relationship. All it takes is a little time and patience, calm and relaxation and viewing your relationship from a different angle.

Handwriting Example #1
Handwriting Example #1

Handwriting Reading #1:

Your writing is showing your confusion and it is also showing that you tend to live with your heart in control rather than your head. Because of this you are very much feeling this confusion and anxiety over your relationship.

You also show that you are very, very sensitive to criticism. The least hint from your significant other that things are not perfect may have you take it to heart and get emotionally entangled over it. Is it possible that it is just your extreme sensitivity that is feeling there is a problem and your significant other doesn’t think there is one? Are you sure he is dissatisfied?

But either way, you tend to put off things at times, which means you perhaps put off doing what you know needs to be done with regard to your relationship. However, although you are inclined to put things off, once you get going, you are persistent and determined to succeed.

The Hanged Man in the Tarot reading means taking time out to look at things differently, to wait and be patient.  That is not the same as procrastinating. Once you know what to do, do it. Don’t put it off. But be willing to hang out until it becomes clear which of the many choices available look like working best for you.

You are warm and show your feelings, so allow this to engage your significant other. Don’t overdose on the feelings of concern about the relationship and let these become the emotions that you show. Let your naturally affectionate nature show.

Calm and time will solve this problem and bring a happy outcome. These may be difficult for you to do, but well worth it in the long run.

Handwriting Example #2
Handwriting Example #2

Handwriting Reading #2:

Confusion is not your natural way of being. You are usually very clear on what you want, do and see. So this confusion about your relationship is difficult for you.

You are naturally objective and clear thinking, so by taking the timeout that the Hanged Man represents and just allowing things to percolate in your mind, you may find you see things in a whole different light.

One problem you may have with that is that you like to be in charge of what is going on in your life and taking a timeout more or less puts that on hold for a while as you just ponder on what to do and where to go next. Try to let go. Allow things to unfold on their own.  The best way will come to you if you just give it time.

The other things to watch out for are that you get really, really focused on things.  When you do, it becomes difficult for you to see beyond that which you are focused upon. The seven of cups shows many choices. Don’t just zero in on one and examine it through and through ignoring the rest.  Try to stay back and see the bigger picture, all the options, as you take time to sort this out. Strong focus is great once you know where you’re headed but it can be a bit of an obstacle in making choices when there are many options.

Your writing shows you are not in any particular hurry so allowing the Hanged Man to do his work in your life should not be too much of a problem for you.  And his work done, your focus set, you will be ready to move forwards to success in this relationship.

……………

So there you have it. One Tarot Reading coupled with two handwriting examples. As you can see, it makes a big difference to how the Querent will understand the reading.

You don’t have to be a Graphologist to add Handwriting to your Tarot readings. You can start with only the knowledge of one or two and build it up as you go. Even just a couple of traits identified from the writing can help the Querent better relate to the reading. And it will only take you a matter of seconds glancing at the writing to identify them once you know how.

And the simple action of writing out their question also helps the Querent be clear on what they are asking and wanting to know about.

Tarot and Graphology work perfectly in tandem. I encourage you to give it a try. I am working on a video course to teach you, but for now, here is my book (which will also teach you):

Tarot + Emotional Expression & Depth of Emotion

Handwriting with varied slants and pressure showing Emotional Expression and Depth of Emotion

Instead of a Tarot reading for this post, I am going to isolate just two personality traits, Emotional Expression & Depth of Emotion, that you can instantly identify from handwriting and illustrate how they might affect a Tarot  reading.

The traits are emotional expression & depth of emotion. Each of those shows in a different way and yet they play very much together in how a person both feels and behaves.

How to identify these two traits from writing

First here’s how to identify them from any handwriting. Yes, any handwriting because everyone will show their degree of emotional expression and depth of feeling in their writing. It doesn’t matter whether they write or print or do a mixture of both. All caps shows the least in handwriting, but it shows these two traits too.

And whether the writer is left or right handed doesn’t matter either, although be prepared for the occasional leftie who insists their left slanted writing is a result of writing with their left hand.

Not true.

Just as many right handers write with a left hand slant and just as many left handers write with an upright or right hand slant.

How emotionally expressive a writer is shows in the slant of the writing.

Starting with upright writing

Starting with upright writing which doesn’t slant noticeably to the left or to the right.

If you would prefer to watch a video version of this post,
please visit my YouTube Channel at:
https://youtu.be/7qX1cV8Yl_w

please visit my YouTube Channel at: https://youtu.be/7qX1cV8Yl_w

The upright ‘slant’ (although of course it doesn’t really ‘slant’ at all) shows someone who is most comfortable remaining cool and calm no matter what is happening in their life. They will generally show poise but they won’t appear withdrawn or holding themselves back. They don’t like to let emotion to take over.

This is only how they express themselves, remember. How they feel will come when we look at depth of feeling.

Writing that slants to the right

The more the writing slants to the right, the more expressive this writer will be of how they feel, whether it’s joy, anger, fear, confidence or any other feeling.

The slight right hand slant will show feelings mildly.  The moderate right hand slant will show feelings moderately.  And, you’ve guessed it, a far right hand slant will show feeling to a more extreme extent.

The backhand, left facing slant

Looking at the backhand, left facing slant, these writers hold their feelings in.

It doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings.  It means that they don’t like to let their feelings ‘get the better of them.’ So to some extent subconsciously, but if necessary also consciously, they hold their feelings in.

No writer with a backhand slant will willingly show their feelings. Or if they feel obliged to at some point, they will be acutely uncomfortable with doing so.

Any backhand writer can understand that certain things are expected to be said at certain times. For example, in an intimate relationship, it is normal to say things to the other person to show you care. The backhand writer may well say these words and mean them, but the feeling that would be almost a tangible force in the far right hand writer, would be missing with the far left slant writer.

The rule is the same for left or right slanting writing

Writers who write with a left hand slant have basically the same rules as the right hand slant writers. The more extreme the slant, the stronger the inclination to express (for right hand slant) or not to express (for left hand slant) how they feel.

Expect to really feel that a writer with a far left slant is holding their feelings in. You can often see it in their face as well as just get the feeling from being around them.

A milder left hand slant will still not show feelings, but the less the slant the less of the feeling you will get that they are holding themselves in check.

Know a strong left hand slanted writer who shows extreme emotion at times?

Are you thinking you know someone with a strong left hand slant who shows extreme emotion at times? Yes, it happens and that will be explained once I’ve shown you what the depth of expression looks like in handwriting.

The pressure of the writing on the page

How heavily the writer presses on the page when writing shows how heavily feelings ‘press on their heart.’ In other words, how deeply they take in feelings. This applies when the writing is done with a pencil, pen or a fountain pen.

A Sharpie or felt pen always looks heavy and dark so you can’t tell pressure with them. However, someone who consistently chooses to write with a Sharpie or felt pen does so because, in part, they like the look so it’s a pretty good indication that they probably would write heavily to create the same or similar look if they were using another writing instrument.

The very light pressure writer

Someone who writes very lightly is someone who may be intensely emotional when something happens. If the light writer has a far right slant (strong emotional expression) they will indeed just let it all out when something happens to trigger their feelings.

However, no matter how strongly it shows, how happy, sad, angry or whatever other emotion they show, it will fade fast. They will not hold on to the emotion for long. It’s a flash in the pan kind of emotional outburst.

A writer with very light writing and a back hand slant will show very little emotion at any time and let bygones be bygones very fast indeed. You might never know they had any feelings on the topic at all.

The upright, light writer will stay calm and let go fast, so again, you may never know whatever it was had any emotion impression on them at all.

The very heavy pressure writer

On the other hand someone with very heavy writing, regardless of the slant, will take a feeling and just hang on to it, sometimes literally for ever.

Putting Emotional Expression & Depth of Emotion together

So if the heavy writer has a far right slant, expect the feeling to be almost overpowering and continue that way on that topic for a very long time. Sometimes really heavy writers will eventually forget what caused the feeling but they will always retain a memory of liking, not liking, feeling hurt or whatever the feeling was any time the topic or person that caused it in the first place comes to mind.

The heavy writer with a back hand slant will hold their feelings in. The heavy writer with an upright slant will remain cool and poised. However inside the feelings are strong. Very strong, if it’s very heavy writing.

Obviously, moderation in either slant or pressure produces moderate results.

What happens when you have very strong feelings that last a very long time but are not allowed to show?

Eventually an explosion will occur.

Think about putting a pot of water on the stove, with a tight fitting lid. As the water heats and the steam builds up, the pressure on the lid to pop open grows and grows. Eventually the steam will blast the lid off.

This is what happens to the heavy writer who does not allow their emotions to be expressed. They explode.

It may look like temper if it’s a negative feeling they have been holding it. It will be intense no matter whether the feeling was positive or negative and it will be released with force.

It’s not temper however. It’s just the release of built up emotional pressure.  If this heavy, backhand writer can learn to express their feelings on-goingly and regularly these outbursts could be avoided.

Of course it is possible to be a backhanded, heavy writer with a temper, but for this example I’m assuming that temper is not present in the writing.  That is an entirely different trait.

So you can see that Emotional Expression & Depth of Emotion each affects the other and together they have strong effect on how the writer deals with life.

How all this can help you, as a Tarot Reader

So by looking at any piece of writing, printing or print script (a mixture of writing and printing) you can identify their Emotional Expression & Depth of Emotion and tell how likely this person is to express how they feel and how long lasting these feelings will be.

With that information in mind, after only a glance at the writing, you are immediately able to make your Tarot reading more individual and personal.

How you can speak about it to your Querents

When you say to your Querent “Because you show your feelings very much …” and continue on to an event or situation in their reading that will affected by that, you are making the reading mean more immediately to that person.

There may be a time when you look and see a strong left hand slant and the cards are talking about a relationship. Giving the Querent the advice that this relationship is likely to be coming their way and that it is important, if they want it to work out, that they make an effort to make sure the other person knows how they feel, since they are inclined to hold their feelings in. Again, the writing has allowed you to add advice and a little coaching to the reading.

You have decisions to make, the cards say. This writer has an upright slant so you can see they are likely to remain calm and make a good decision. Again, by sharing this with the Querent, you are giving them confidence in their ability to handle the upcoming situation.

Alternatively, you have decisions to make and you have a far right slant. Beware! You are likely to allow your heart to overrule the logic of your head. This may be appropriate to the upcoming situation, but it equally well may not be advisable.

The variations on these situations are endless but hopefully this has given you a taste of just how useful, informative and helpful knowing how to identify even just these two traits is.

Your advice can help your Querent be aware of both their strengths and their weaknesses moving forwards.

What it does for you, the Tarot Reader

And what it does for you, the reader, is to help you know your Querent better and so be able to word their reading in a way that you know will resonate best with them.

Deliver your reading with emotion for the far right writer. Calmly for the left hand writer. With heavy writing, be careful because you know they’re going to keep this in the heart, going over and over it for a long time to come so be honest but don’t exaggerate the emotional impact.

My suggestion for you

My suggestion to you is to play around with identifying Tarot from writing.

When you do a reading for yourself or as you remember one you’ve done for a Querent, consider the various slants and pressures that a writer could do and think about how this would  impact the reading both for the Querent and for how you, the reader, could present the information.

Then once you feel comfortable with it, ask your Querents to write out their questions for you and use their writing to inform you of their emotional style as you do the reading.

Will he still be happy with me when he returns: Tarot & Handwriting Reading #6:

Querent’s Question: When he returns will he still be happy with me?

Tarot Cards: Wheel of Fortune, King of Cups, Justice and The Sun

The Querent asks “will my partner still be happy with me” after he returns from a trip away where he is involved in various activities and interests. These, for various reasons, will never be part of the Querent’s life. She worries that when he returns he will no longer be interested in her because she can’t participate in these new or old but expanded interests.

Watch this post on video: https://youtu.be/F5X62nEEr3c

Tarot Card Reading:

The Wheel of Fortune is turning and it’s among all positive cards so good, positive things are on the horizon.

Your partner is the King of Cups – benevolent, kind, loving and loyal and very family oriented. You are his family and he is strongly connected to you. He may at times appear distant as he goes inwards with his thoughts and feelings.

The Justice card suggests he may have temptations or discover new interests that you are not part of. However he is fair and reasonable, realizing that you are still the same person he left. He sees that new interests are no reason to lose a relationship that has been working so well.

The clarifier for the Justice card is the Sun. It’s shining brightly. All is well.  The Sun is the card of happy, successful relationships and contentment.

3 major arcana out of 4 cards and the 4th is a court card.  This is a very strong message of affirmation. Perhaps, far from thinking he doesn’t need you any more, the old saying ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’ could well apply to this situation.

Handwriting Example for Question: When he returns will he still be happy with me?

Handwriting Reading:

The partner’s writing was not available so I couldn’t use it to see how he might behave. I have the Querent’s writing which shows how she might respond. It also shows perhaps why the question was asked in the first place since the cards would suggest there is no problem at all.

More on Tarot & Handwriting (Graphology)

The most noticeable thing about this writing is the far right slant.  The Querent is very emotional (far right slant.) This means she tends to think through her feelings, which could explain what seems to be unfounded worry about her relationship.

She is however, also quite analytical (‘v’ formations at the baseline.) After the reading, having had the positives pointed out she is likely to analyze is and realize that yes, she was over reacting. Perhaps now her emotions will be in the direction of happiness.

She does have a positive mind set in general (straight downward strokes with no curve.) Mild optimism (slight upward slant in the lines of writing) shows in her outlook.

Tarot & Handwriting (Graphology) on YouTube

Loyalty (round i dot), honesty ( ‘a’ and ‘o’ with no loops) and open mindededness (space within the lower case ‘e’) will help her accept the reading and realize that all is going to be OK. Intuition (gaps between letters within script) also plays a part in her reasoning.

She has enough self-confidence (tall ‘t’s and t-bars more than halfway up the t-stem) to accept that he is probably perfectly happy with her.

Want to learn more about Tarot & Handwriting? Try this.

All these things play their part. However the overwhelming reason for the question is her strong emotional outlook (far right slant) on life. Once assurance comes that all is well that emotion will most likely change from concern to joy. It will help her be ready to welcome him home with overflowing affection and happiness (far right slant).

Where should I go from here? Tarot & Handwriting Reading #5

Question: Where should I go from here?

Below you will find a Past, Present, Obstacle, Outcome Tarot Reading, with one clarifying card.

After that is an example of handwriting, followed by a handwriting reading (Graphology) relating back to the Tarot reading. It personalizes the Tarot Reading. This shows how this writer will respond or has responded to the situations shown in the Tarot.

There is also a Conclusion of the Handwriting Reading. In it, in parenthesis, is a description of how to identify from the handwriting, the personality traits mentioned.

You will be able to look at the writing example and identify the traits mentioned. Then you will be able to apply that to looking at any other writing you may choose to look at.

Tarot & Handwriting Reading #5:

Question: Where should I go from here?

Cards drawn to answer the question "Where should I go from here?"

Prefer to watch this post as a video? Click here.

Tarot Card Reading:

In the past you’ve been carrying a heavy load, or at least it’s felt like that. In the present you are reminiscing of the happy times you had in the past. But the obstacle to that is the need to become someone who is financially secure. It may be that the heavy load in the past was lack of finances and this is creating worry for the future.

The cards show that the future holds happy times with family & friends. This echoes the happy times you are thinking about right now.

Clarifying how this happiness will happen in spite of the strong need to make money, is the Empress. This is the only major arcana in the spread. It therefore has lots of power or ‘clout.’ The Empress indicates abundance in all areas of life.

Conclusion of Tarot Reading:

The reading would seem to suggest that if you just enjoy life abundance both financial and emotional will come to you.  Don’t let the need to make lots of money get you down or dominate your life.

There are two cups cards for emotion and crossed by a pentacles or money card. Don’t let the need for money detract from the positive and enjoyable emotional experiences available to you right now and in the future. All will be well.

Handwriting of Querent:

Handwriting example for this tarot spread question.

Handwriting Reading:

Your writing shows that you are basically objective (Upright slant.) So when you were feeling that things were getting too much for you in the past, that that was probably a reasonable assessment.

You are not overly emotional (upright slant.) However you do have very strong Intuition (gaps between letters within script.) So as you reminisce on the past, your intuition is at work giving you intuitive feelings about how it was. This is stronger for you than relying on your imagination or past emotion.

The need you feel right now to achieve financial security is coolly and calmly arrived at using logic (upright slant.) You have analyzed (‘V’ formations at the baseline of the writing) the situation and this is the conclusion you have arrived at.

The cards show for the future, happiness with loved ones around. But that doesn’t answer the need for financial security. Although, I would surmise that if you were going to be in great financial need in the future that would affect your happiness. So to some extent the 10 of cups does show that you don’t have to worry about finances.

However that is resolved even more with the clarifier card which shows the Empress. This has the meaning of abundance in all things material, which includes finances.

Conclusion of Handwriting Reading with Traits shown:

I would suggest that logic (upright slant) is telling you that you need to find more in the way of finances. However your intuition (gaps between letters within script), which is the main guide to your life, is telling you not to worry, that all is fine and will continue to be so in the future.

We are taught to live in a world of logic. Your writing shows that you are calm, logical (upright slant) and analytical (‘V’ formations at the baseline.)  But it also shows that you have very strong intuition (gaps between letters within script.)

It would appear that at the moment these two aspects of your personality are at war. The logic is saying you need more in the way of money. But your intuition is telling you not to worry, that everything will be well now and in the future. The cards suggest that you intuition is correct and there is no need to worry.

How can I boost my energy levels? Tarot & Handwriting Reading #4

Querent’s Question:

How can I boost my energy levels?

Past, Present, Obstacle, Future spread

How can I boost my energy levels past, present, obstacle, future tarot spread.

Read Tarot & Graphology Reading #4 below or watch the video.

Tarot Card Reading:

In the past there have been so many apparent choices and ways to boost your energy levels that you have felt confused. You have been unable to decide which way to go. However in the present you have found good, analytical, objective advice on the subject. However for some reason your success appears as an obstacle for you.

Is it that you believe you are already having success so are ignoring the advice? Or that you resent the advice and so are blocking your own success?

Whichever it is, the World, being a major arcana card has more power than the King of Swords. So what you see as your success is overshadowing the good advice being offered. If things keep going this way, in the future this will cause you anxiety and worry.

Also note that both the present and the future are swords – analytical thinking – cool, calm logic.  There is a place for that, undoubtedly, but overthinking can lead to stress and distress.

Handwriting Reading:

Confusion is not strong in your handwriting, but it is present. However you do have organizational ability which should offset that to some extent
Where the lines of writing are touching or almost touching each other shows that confusion is not far off at any time.  However your evenly divided ‘f’s show your organizational ability. By working with that you may perhaps gain more clarity about the past and also about right now.

The cards show that someone cool and wise is offering you good advice. But you are in some way using your success in improving your energy as an obstacle to accepting this advice. The loops on the ‘t’ stems in your writing illustrate that you are extremely sensitive to criticism. So it is likely that the advice you got, which from the King of Swords is perhaps not being delivered very diplomatically, has offended you. You may be feeling hurt about the way things were said. As a result you are claiming you already have success and using that as reason not to accept the advice.

Ultimately anxiety is the outcome. This is also showing to some extent in your writing where the baseline is something of a roller coaster, going up and down as you write a line of writing. This is a roller coaster of emotion. Up one minute, down the next.

You can win though…

However, the lack of initial strokes in the writing show that you are very clear thinking and direct. Plus the ‘v’ shaped formations of the ‘m’ and ‘n’s illustrate investigative/analytical thinking. All these things together give you the ability to analyze the situation and to look coolly at the advice you received. This will help you overcome your somewhat irrational sensitivity to see that the advice is really helpful. If you can do this you will find that the world card does indeed bring success and the worry and anxiety showing in the future will dissipate as objectivity takes over.

The future card shows the future as it will be if nothing changes. However, you, in the present, can change anything you want and if you change the now, you will also change the future.

At a Glance Traits to Identify: #1 Margins

When you first start to add handwriting to your Tarot readings, it can be a bit much to remember all the things to look for. So this is the first of a series of posts on at a glance Traits to identify: #1 Margins.

The traits we will cover here are called ‘global traits’ since they show in all of the writing, regardless of the words, letters or writing style.

Margins in General

First look at how the writing is placed on the paper. It doesn’t matter that you only have three of four lines of writing. Is one margin noticeably wider than the other? Does either margin get wider or narrower as it goes down the page? (This will be hard to tell with less than three lines of writing.) Are the margins what you would consider an ‘average’ size or are they wider or narrower than you would generally expect to see?

A margin that won’t tell you anything much is an ‘average’ width margin which is equal on both sides and generally stays the same width all the way down. Obviously the right hand margin is ragged but it’s still possible to see if it gets narrower or wider as the text goes down the page.

Average margins with the usual ragged right margin

Do the Margins change in width?

Margins that get narrower as they go down the page show someone who is heading in the direction the margin is heading in.

So if the left margin is getting narrower, the writer is heading to the left, which is the past. This writer is inclined to dwell or go back to the security of the past.

Margins getting wider or narrower as the writing goes down the page.

If it is the right hand margin that is getting smaller, the writer is heading towards the future. They are future oriented. And since the future is unknown, if this is very obvious, if the right hand margin is quickly getting narrower, then this writer is also a risk taker.

A margin that doesn’t change is someone who is holding an even keel.

What to say to your Querent

  • When the left margin gets wider you can tell your querent that they are leaving the past behind and moving on.
  • When the left margin gets narrower you can tell your querent that they have a tendency to cling to the past, especially when things become uncomfortable for them
  • When the right margin gets wider you can tell your querent that they may plan taking a risk, but may draw back if it seems too difficult, scary or too much of a change
  • When the right margin gets narrower you can tell your querent that they start off more cautious but as things move along they get more daring and more willing to take risks.

One Margin consistently Narrower

If the margin doesn’t change as it goes down the page, but the left margin is always noticeably narrower than the right, then it is someone who habitually clings to the past.

One margin consistently narrower than the other.

If it is always narrower on the right, it is someone who is generally future focused.

What to tell your Querent

  • When the left margin is consistently narrower than the right, you can tell your querent that they are inclined to stick with the past, with the tried and true.
  • When the right margin is consistently narrower than the left, you can tell your querent that they are a risk taker, willing to try new things and enjoy adventure.

Extreme Margins

If both margins are very narrow, using up as much space as possible on the paper, it is someone who is thrifty.  They are making full use of all the paper space. This will usually also apply to the top and bottom margins if it’s a full page of writing.

Consistent extreme margins

If both margins and the top and bottom margins are very wide it is someone who likes their own space.  They may be friendly and sociable but they won’t appreciate being crowded or intruded upon. When this is extremely exaggerated and the space around the writing is really huge, it shows someone who feels in isolation from the rest of the world.

What to tell your Querent

  • When the writing uses up every available inch of space on the page you can tell your querent that they are thrifty, that they make the best use they can of what they have rather than always going for something new or bigger. The exception to this is if they were required to write a certain amount on a small piece of paper so had no choice but to squeeze it in.
  • When the writing has very wide margins all around, you can tell your querent that they need their space, they need both physical and mental space in their life and lots of it.

Conclusion

Margins are easy and quick to check out, but they do give considerable information. And if you think about what each margin means, it is really quite self-explanatory so once you’ve done it a couple of times, checking margins out can quickly become something you can add to your Tarot and handwriting readings.

What do I need to know about…? Tarot & Handwriting Reading #3

What do I need to know about Rick, the new guy who contacted me on the online dating site? This Tarot & Handwriting reading example #3 is in answer to a questions about an online dating relationship.

Overview

I have just written a brief tarot reading, since this blog in intended for people who already read tarot. However, I do need to show some reading since the handwriting reading relates to what the tarot reading says. So whether or not you agree fully with my brief tarot reading, please accept it as is, and instead focus on how the handwriting reading relates to it.

At the end you will find a brief description of how to identify a few of the traits mentioned in the handwriting reading.

Question:

What do I need to know about Rick, the new guy who contacted me on the online dating site?

Tarot Cards:

Lovers, 3 pentacles, 8 cups.

Tarot Reading: The Lovers, 3 pentacles, 8 cups Tarot Cards
What do I need to know about Rick?

Tarot Reading:

Initially in this relationship there will appear to be a strong connection, a romantic connection and things will be looking good.  Some teamwork will happen as the two of you work at creating a relationship. However in the end it looks like you will decide this is just not for you and, unhappily, you will walk away.  You’re intuition will be telling you that this is just not what it seems and you will leave.

Handwriting Reading:

What do I need to know about Rick, that shows in the writing? Here it is.

Your overall attitude is that of being optimistic and very emotionally expressive, so in a romantic relationship you will be expecting the best and showing it.  You will invest strongly in the connection from an emotional standpoint.

However, you sometimes have trouble getting started on what you want to do.  Once you are off and running, you are great, with lots of determination to keep you going. But just getting started in the first place sometimes is a problem for you. In this relationship is it possible you are holding back from something you would do well to be doing if you want the relationship to succeed?

Another thing that might be holding you back is your distrust, or at least the time you take to develop trust in new situations and new people.

The cards indicate that you will eventually walk away from this relationship, and this will be driven by emotion, which will be strongly expressed by you – perhaps in private, perhaps to the other person. Probably something about him is just too different from what you are familiar and feel comfortable with. However your optimism will help you get over this and move on.

More about Adding Handwriting to your Tarot Readings:
Graphology expands your readings.

Personality Traits in the Writing

The first personality trait mentioned in the Handwriting Reading is optimism which shows in lines of writing going upwards to the right.

Emotional expression shows in how slanted to the right the writing is, and this writing has a strong right hand slant.

The very light, indistinct t-bars show lack of starting power and the very long lower extenders on the ‘f’s and the ‘g’ show determination to keep going once started.

Taking time to accept new situations and people shows in the lower case ‘e’s where there is no space in the loop.

Exercise

So now you’ve found out what you need to know about Rick! These five traits are all easy to spot and identify, so why don’t you do a three card spread for yourself, with your own question and look at your own writing to see which of these traits you can find and how you think they would influence the reading?

How does GraphoTherapy work with Tarot?

Graphotherapy: Change your Handwriting, Change your Life

So, how does GraphoTherapy work with Tarot? In a nutshell, GraphoTherapy is “Change your Handwriting, Change your Life.”

Handwriting is brain writing. It is not the hand that decides how you write. It’s your brain.  And your sees and acts according to your personality. If something feels natural, it belongs to your personality. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. However it can be made to … and that is what Graphotherapy is all about.

Tarot + Handwriting = ?

But first let’s go back to Tarot and Handwriting. The Tarot has told the events, past, present and likely to occur if you keep going in the present direct. Your Handwriting has told you what you have going for you to make the best of what is coming, what is in the present and even how to deal with what is past. And it had told you in what ways you are inclined to behave that would jeopardize positive outcomes and make worse difficult ones.

But what if you don’t have what you need to cope with what is coming up? What if your Handwriting shows that what you really need, you just don’t have? Or what if it will probably be OK with what you have, but it could be so much better if you could respond in a different way?

That’s where GraphoTherapy comes in.

If you change your writing to include the traits you want to have and banish those you don’t want to have you will start to behave in accordance with the new traits that are now part of your personality. Of course it doesn’t happen overnight and that is where the two levels of GraphoTherapy – conscious and subconscious – come into play.

While you are still deliberately writing with the new strokes, it is your conscious mind that is making it happen.  The new trait, the new behavior, is not part of your personality yet. But as you practice, you are focusing on what you are doing and how you are writing. Your focus is on the strokes for the new personality traits that you are adding. And as anyone who has even learned anything about the Law of Attraction knows what you focus on expands.

Focus, Focus, Focus

So as you practice, as you focus on the new trait or traits that you are adding to your handwriting, you are focused on them. Not only will you notice as you write the necessary strokes, but you will also notice in your behavior whether you are or are not behaving in accordance with these new personality trait additions or subtractions. You want to act in the new way. That is why you are adding or removing these strokes from your handwriting.

So you, with your heightened awareness of these traits and the behavior associated with them, will notice much, much more than you previously would have, when you are acting in the new way or the old way.  And if you find yourself acting in the old way, probably you will immediately do what you can to change it to the new way. After all, you have chosen to change and if you notice yourself not doing this, you most likely will take steps to make sure that you do what is needed to act in the new way you have decided to be.

That is the conscious level of GraphoTherapy. It is still not part of your natural behavior so you have to make the change ‘manually’, but because your focus is on it, you will notice and have the opportunity to make the change at any moment.

And here is the Magic…

Then we get to the subconscious part of GraphoTherapy and this is where the magic really happens.

The subconscious mind is programmed by spaced repetition. This means that if you repeat your new handwriting strokes over and over again, with time between each practice session, after a while your subconscious accepts that this is how you now want to be. It then takes over the job of directing both your writing and your behavior in accordance with what you have been showing it in your practice.

Adding Handwriting to your Tarot Readings:
Graphology expands your readings.

So the strokes you have been practicing writing become your natural way of writing. When these strokes are your natural way of writing, the behavior that goes along with these strokes becomes your natural way of behaving. This is when you have made the complete change and now you are who you have been working to become.

Here is an example

Let’s look at an example. Let’s say you have very day to day goals. This means that you can really do a whole lot more than you think you can, but you are not aware of this and don’t have the confidence to step out and go for it. The trait in handwriting that shows underestimating yourself is the t-bars placed really low on the t-stem.

Your Tarot reading has shown that you are going to have some amazing opportunities opening up for you. But do you have the confidence to take advantage of them? You decide to engage in GraphoTherapy to help.

The stroke for ambitious goals is the t-bar at or near the top of the t-stem, so you decide to practice making your t-bars much higher.
As you practice, every time you write a t-bar high up on the t-stem, you aware consciously aware that this is your goals that you are raising up high.

Conscious & Subconscious GraphoTherapy

This is when conscious GraphoTherapy is working. It is bringing to your awareness every time you write that you want to go after higher goals. So you start looking at how to do that and start moving towards that goal.

Once you find that you are writing those t-bars up high quite without thinking about it that means you have now completed the change and high goals as well as high t-bars are now part of your natural way of writing and being. Subconscious GraphoTherapy has taken over. You have succeeded. You will now start to gradually notice that you aim higher without even really thinking about it. It has become your natural way of looking at life.

The Tarot told you about opportunities and your Handwriting and GraphoTherapy have given you the tools to make the very best of whatever opportunities come your way. They have worked together to create the change you wanted. You have made “Change your Handwriting, Change your Life” work for you.

And here’s the Bonus

And there is even a bonus.  If at a later date you find your t-bars sliding back down the t-stem a bit, if you just practice pushing them up again, you have the chance to get your goals back up there again before the slide starts to show in your behavior because it shows in the writing before it shows in your actions.

There are many, many opportunities to make changes to your life by making changes to your handwriting. However, raising your goals is one I can not only vouch for on behalf of many of my clients, I can also vouch for it personally.

This is one of the very first changes I made to my writing when I first started to study Graphology and GraphoTherapy. So I can tell you from firsthand knowledge that it works. A couple of times over the 25+ years since I first raised my t-bars and my goals, I have  seen the t-bar start to slip a little bit down. Each time I have practiced again till it stayed perched on top of the t-stem naturally again. And it works. Not only have my t-bars soared but my confidence in my abilities has soared every bit as high.

It can work on whatever change you want to make

Perhaps goals are not what you would work on. There are countless options. Whatever you need to get what you want.  Whomever you want to be to achieve what you want to achieve. Whatever the Tarot tells you about that you don’t want to miss out on … or if it’s a difficult situation showing in the cards, whatever you need to avoid it… either way, your handwriting and GraphoTherapy can help you achieve it.

Finding love: What stands in my way? Tarot & Handwriting Reading #1

3 card Tarot Spread: 6 of Wands, Hanged Man and Temperance: Tarot and Handwriting Reading

How it works:

What stands in the way of me finding love is just one of the questions that combining Tarot and Handwriting can help you answer.

A Tarot and Handwriting Reading first shows the reading from the Tarot. This tells the story. Next we look at the Handwriting to see in what way the personality and temperament it shows will either enhance or jeopardize what the Tarot is foretelling.

Often the Handwriting will show something that also shows in the Tarot. This means that what the Tarot is showing, in this instance, is a natural way for this querent to behave. So it will probably work out well.

When the Handwriting shows something that could hinder the story told in the Tarot, the querent can be warned of their inclination (as shown in the Handwriting) and how it might interfere with the positive outcome suggested by the Tarot.

When a negative outcome is suggested by the Tarot, the Handwriting can show strengths the querent has that can help them overcome or deal with the difficulties ahead.

The two working together in a Tarot and Handwriting reading giving a wider view than either one can do alone. They integrate seamlessly and naturally to give a comprehensive reading.

Querent’s Question

What stands in the way of me finding love?

Tarot Reading

(Using the 3 card spread shown above): You have every chance of success in finding love. Passion and fire are there for you and success can come. You appear to be taking time out at the moment to look at things from a different perspective and to think things through.

Adding Handwriting to your Tarot Readings:
Graphology expands your readings.

Stay on an even keel and remain flexible to how things might play out. You may find that love will find you as your balance and equanimity will help you find your direction – and be found. I would say that after some thought as to what you are doing versus what you see as possible to do about this situation you will come up with a well thought out, calm plan which will prove successful.

Handwriting Reading

Writing of this Querent: Tarot and Handwriting Reading:

Since keeping on an even keel is in the Tarot reading, it is good to see that your writing echoes just that. No matter how you may feel inside, you have an innate ability to handle most situations calmly and in a balanced way.

You set high goals for yourself. Because of this you see yourself as failing when you have done what others might consider success. Perhaps try not being so hard on yourself. Instead use your balanced personality to accept that just because you haven’t found the love you want yet, that doesn’t mean you won’t.

Taking time out to think about things is also something you have the ability to do. You are in general a calm and objective thinker. Once you’ve thought things through, go ahead and do whatever seems like the best idea at the time. Your writing shows someone who generally is successful in whatever they put their mind to, so go for it.

The one thing that it might be worth keeping in mind with a relationship is that most people are not mind readers. You tend to keep your feelings pretty much to yourself. So my advice would be that when you find someone you feel deeply for, make a definite effort to tell them so. Show them how you feel so that they will not leave feeling you do not care and instead show their affection and feelings for you.

Conclusion

So you will see that the Tarot reading does all any normal Tarot reading would do as it shows how things are likely to play out. And the Handwriting comes in with information that will register strongly with the Querent as they recognize these personality traits and behavior patterns as their own. The benefit of pointing these out is that by being more aware of their tendencies the Querent is in a much better position to make the very best of what they have going for them. It also empowers them to notice and curb any self-defeating tendencies.
